Over dit e-boek
EN. Danny O'Neil and Hank Taylor are a trumpet-playing double act with more charm than cash. When their fast-talking new secretary Ellen Miller maneuvers them into the orbit of swing-era bandleader Artie Shaw, the two best friends must each dream of a solo chair in Shaw's trumpet section — a dream only one of them can win. H. C. Potter's sunny screwball with Fred Astaire and Paulette Goddard is also, improbably, a textbook of 1940s bandstand English: the rehearsal count, the arranger's jargon, the stage patter of a touring outfit on a tight expense sheet. Volume IV of the Sermira Crews Vintage Film Companion presents every spoken line of the picture in bilingual English and Polish.
PL.
