The Final Battle

The night the Water stopped glowing, I knew the war had finally reached us.

For years, Holly Well Springs has felt untouchable — wrapped in Christmas lights, protected by faith, held together by love. But the Water beneath our town is no longer just a miracle. It’s a target.

Alex is back.

And this time, he isn’t hiding in shadows or working through rumors and schemes. The threat is open. The Well is exposed. The line between realms is thinning. And the responsibility to protect what generations built is no longer resting on Sachee’s shoulders.

It’s resting on mine.

Levi stands beside me — steady, unshaken, the calm in every storm I’ve faced. Loving him has always felt like standing on solid ground. But now love means something more. It means trusting each other when fear tries to take hold. It means believing that what binds this town together is stronger than whatever tries to tear it apart.

The Healing Water chose us.

And if it requires sacrifice to protect it… I will not hesitate.

Because Holly Well Springs isn’t just a town.

It’s every healed heart.

Every second chance.

Every vow whispered under winter lights.

And I won’t let it fall.

Not now.

Not ever.
