The Garbage Man: A Steve Jobz PI Thriller

When part‑time fraud investigator and full‑time smart‑mouth Steve Jobz gets fired after a disastrous HR meeting, the last thing he expects is a call from homicide. A severed head has turned up in an Albany dumpster—and the cops need Jobz’s particular brand of troublemaking to dig up the truth.

Dragged into a brutal case of decapitation, corruption, and revenge, Jobz finds himself wading through the city’s sludge: crooked cops, femme fatales, political insiders, and a ruthless killer who thinks beheading is an art form.

But the deeper Jobz digs, the more personal—and bloodier—the investigation becomes. Now the wise‑cracking PI must battle his demons, dodge a vengeful garbage man with a taste for pain, and stop a psychotic killer before another body hits the landfill.

Tough, darkly funny, and pulse‑pounding, The Garbage Man delivers everything fans love about Vincent Zandri’s award‑winning thrillers: gritty atmosphere, razor‑sharp dialogue, and a hero who keeps bleeding—but never quits.

Perfect for readers of Michael Connelly, Don Winslow, Harlan Coben, and James Lee Burke who crave hard‑boiled noir with a modern edge and unapologetic punch.
