I interview in this book:
– A French woman who photographs decay. The decay of everything;
– An “Eternal Unconformed”, as he himself called himself. A man of integrity, rich, wise to where books allow him to go;
– A Protestant Chaplain: His Will in Pursuit of the Faith;
– A Monsignor: philosopher, loving, kind. He received the title of Monsignor by St. John Paul II;
– An old lady on her deathbed: The only material good she had left was the space of her bed.
One day, I shall be capable of profoundly honoring my soul and immersing myself in the love of the Spirit that dwells within me: in the depths with the Divine Spouse of my soul.
I seek not merely to sell books, but to share them. Sustained by Grace, I shall be empowered to impart a fragment of the breath of my limited intellect. My endeavor is not for today, tomorrow, or even the coming year; rather, I intend to transcribe my thoughts until my final day. This is who I am.
Yet, this is but a detail, perhaps one of those clichéd elements, that constitutes human needs in the longing for the new, the unknown, in the exploration both interior and exterior.
"We are the image and likeness of that which we love."
