Victoria Gilbert’s Death on the Books is a cozy, clue-filled return to Taylorsford. Amy Muir faces another library-side murder, a missing Fabergé egg, and plenty of twists and red herrings. Longtime fans will enjoy seeing familiar characters again, while the mystery keeps the pages turning.
