LANDS OF SILENCE AND POWER

Vamsi Garimella is an Indian author known for ambitious independent worldbuilding projects that blend mythology, mystery, adventure, philosophy, and animal-centered storytelling. With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in English Literature, he combines analytical thinking with imaginative storytelling to create expansive fictional worlds across multiple languages.

Currently working as a Senior Associate at State Bank of India, Vamsi balances his professional career with a lifelong passion for literature and worldbuilding.

He made his literary debut with With You, Forever!, a children’s psychological mystery that became the first title in the series TOGETHER; ECHOES FROM THE WOODS. Through stories that explore friendship, identity, imagination, and the unseen connections between living beings, he began laying the foundation for larger fictional universes.

His flagship creation is the VIVIDHATA CHRONICLES—an ambitious mythological universe centered on the sacred jungle of Vividhata, where every creature has a purpose, every land holds a history, and every silence carries meaning. The universe extends beyond a traditional novel series and includes a planned novel trilogy, a fully illustrated mythic atlas, dedicated lore books, an encyclopaedia of creatures, tribes and sacred places, and a constitutional volume documenting the rights, laws, traditions, and governing principles of the jungle itself.

The first novel in the trilogy, MY OTHER I, was released on January 1, 2026, introducing readers to the living world of Vividhata and its enduring themes of survival, coexistence, purpose, and belonging.

Expanding the universe further, LANDS OF SILENCE AND POWER: THE MYTHIC ATLAS OF VIVIDHATA serves as a richly illustrated guide to the geography, legends, tribes, creatures, sacred landmarks, and hidden histories that shape the Chronicles. The atlas has subsequently expanded beyond its original language, with a Japanese-language edition, 静寂と力の大地, published independently by Vamsi as an eBook in September 2026, marking the first Japanese-language publication within the VIVIDHATA universe.

Known for developing large-scale independent literary universes, Vamsi continues to build interconnected worlds through novels, atlases, lore books, and mythological companion volumes, inviting readers not merely to read stories—but to explore entire civilizations, ecosystems, and living mythologies.
