The volume is a collection of essays by acclaimed and widely published international scholars of 'space' working within different disciplines, such as social sciences, history, applied sciences and media theory, literary and cultural studies (American, Canadian, French, German, Mexican-American, and Polish). Dr Weronika Suchacka is an assistant professor at the University of Szczecin, Poland, and teaches Canadian literature at the University of Warsaw, Poland.
Prof. Dr Bartosz Wójcik is professor and Director of the Regionalism and Borderlands Research Group at the University of Szczecin. He researches on regionalist approaches in the area of literary and cultural history, especially of Pomerania, cultural transfer processes and narrativization of cultural landscapes.
