About this ebook

“Attempted murder victim told the Brainerd Dispatch she believes her sixteen-year-old son saved her.”

This is the news article detailing the event that would drastically change Tyler Zed’s life and that of his family forever.

Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, Tyler and his two brothers filled their days with chaotic fun, from playing hockey to building forts to making their own home movies. The household was also full of addiction and abuse that ultimately led to their father attempting to murder their mother on Christmas Eve 2007.

Trailer Park Parable follows Tyler and his family before Christmas Eve 2007, the events leading to that night, and the years afterward. It trails the boys as they deal with varying degrees of PTSD and their own battles with addiction, before they eventually turned their creative coping mechanisms, like their YouTube channels, into million-subscriber successes.

From living in a trailer park to running a multi-million-dollar business, Trailer Park Parable highlights a true, American-dream story, countering a popular narrative that tells us you may as well not even try, the system is rigged against you.

I have been a subscriber since the early days. I believe since 2018. I would watch/listen as I drove for work. And I still watch every video. It's as you wanted it: I laugh and learn and laugh some more. Reading this book was a privilege and an honor. I learned a lot about how we have similar experiences with writing stories and such. I would love to read those other stories. I love writing, and I've written a trilogy. I am just not good at promoting. I enjoyed this book, especially chapter 12. The writing style is personal and simple, and it made reading enjoyable and touching. I watch so many YouTubers, but Tyler Zed (fantastic and creative nickname) is on the short list of ones I would love to meet. I don't need it to happen, but this book made me think that more so. Thank you for sharing your story. It will stick with me

This book is amazing. I don't read many books in fact this is the first book I read this year. The problem is when I started the book, I couldn't put it down, so it was a two-day read. My wife and I follow his Zeducation and love it. Tyler you have had an amazing life and I am impressed how you succeeded. You have an amazing anchor. it's the same as mine.
