There are so many intersecting themes in this book that it takes time to process even though the story pulls you in. I am left reeling as I ponder the realities of the truths that this story reveals, and the ongoing impact of the issues the author delves into. I was so grateful to learn that this book is part of a series because there is much more to unpack.
