About this ebook
WARNING: This villain's origin story from the Witches of Etlantium series is dark and gritty.
To harness the power of fire, will she have to surrender to the inferno within?
Aislin is a fire witch whose magic lies dormant until her mother dies and it becomes her inheritance. But a witch destined to inherit incredible powers isn't exactly worthless. That power can be exploited. It can be traded.
When a band of brigands attack her village, she is carried off as chattel for a brutish man and she must find a way to harness her nascent power if she's to save herself from a life of misery and slavery. It's this desperate bid to escape that she realizes who sold her into this life in the first place.
But the even greater problem is the price she might have to pay to master her dormant powers…

About the author
Thea is a NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling Author. She used to have a black lab at her feet when she wrote, warming up the calves. It can be cold in rural Nova Scotia. Now it's just a cuppa tea keeping her warm.
Whether she's finding ways to lure Isabella Hush into the Shadow Bazaar or throwing the switch on a new monster, her urban fantasy pulses with dark themes, slow-burn but satisfying romance, and action-packed intrigue. Her characters are always deeply wounded creatures struggling for redemption. She's a huge fan of Patricia Briggs and Dannika Dark and hopes you'll enjoy slipping into the skin of the characters she's created.
