"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done." (Proverbs 19:17) / Somewhere near you tonight, somebody is choosing between groceries and rent. A widow is stretching one meal into three. A mother is praying over an empty pantry, asking God if He sees her. / He does. / The Poor is a plain-language, Bible-first guide to God's heart for the poor, the widow, and the stranger, and what He asks of you. Across fourteen short chapters, you'll learn why God calls Himself a defender of widows and a father to the fatherless, what Jesus meant when He said "whatever you did for one of the least of these... you did for me," why the widow's two small coins outweighed the fortunes of the rich, how the widow of Zarephath's last meal became hundreds, why God built gleaning into His law so the hungry could work with dignity, what the Year of Jubilee says about debts and fresh starts, how the Good Samaritan's mercy becomes your assignment, why the rich fool lost everything in a night, what happened at the rich man's gate, how the early church ended up with "no needy persons among them," why God loves a cheerful giver, and why faith without works is dead. Every chapter opens with Scripture and ends with one clear action step, because difficult information should be made simple for everyday people. / Seen. Served. Lifted.
