Par šo e-grāmatu
An unputdownable psychological thriller that delves into the consequences of manipulation and the search for identity.
What does it take to tip over the last domino?
At home, high-school junior Travis Ellroy can never live up to the memory of his golden-boy brother who committed suicide. At school he faces constant pressure and ridicule from the jocks and their girlfriends. He has hopes of getting a promotion at his job and a date with the prettiest girl in school, but lately nothing has worked out for Travis. Then he meets Daniel, a new kid who doesn’t seem afraid of anything and whose courage is contagious.
Daniel teaches Travis to stand up, fight back, and go after what he wants most. But their relationship develops into combustible friendship—one where manipulation leads Travis to violent extremes.
Soon Travis finds himself walking away from his old friends, in danger of losing his job, and in trouble at school. Then one fateful day, Travis brings a gun to school. The events that follow unfold with gripping tension, making this powerful debut novel impossible to put down.
