Sloane Whitaker has been writing about food for years and stopped caring about it somewhere along the way. When her editor sends her to Cottontail Junction, Montana to find the town's best-kept culinary secret, she expects to file the piece and fly home.
She doesn't expect Wyatt Briggs.
He's quiet, unhurried, and hasn't let a reporter near his smokehouse in three years. She's only in town through Saturday. Neither of them is looking for anything.
But Cottontail Junction has a way of surprising people.
Can four days in a small town be enough to find what she's been missing?
A heartwarming clean romance short story. Perfect for fans of small-town cowboys and Hallmark-style love stories.
