About this ebook

Meet Rasheed, Jonathan, and Josephine and their magical animal helpers: Maximilian the fire fox, Dan the karkadan, and Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent (but you can call her Quetzy). They're three unique kids who love mysteries (actually they hate mysteries, but they love solving them). Join them in their adventures where they take on evil doers and monsters while shattering the misconceptions and expectations of people who make the mistake of underestimating them

On their fourth adventure, a perplexing problem presents itself in the form of powerful pharmaceutical companies, missing medicines, and a mysterious marauder: the Peryton. A hero? A villain? A thief? No one knows. It’s up to the kids to find out. Read on, as some pretty profound peryton predicaments are produced!

About the author

Globetrotter and writer Ted Neill has worked on five continents as an educator, health professional, and journalist. When not writing he spends his time pondering deep questions such as, "Why are my Teddy Bears looking at me that way? Are they judging my fashion choices?" He also likes to entertain himself by watching the hummingbirds at the feeders in his yard and wondering about the romantic entanglements among them (he may or may not have named each one of them).

Suzi Spooner has never solved a mystery before but she's hopeful that someday she will find one that is not too difficult. For now she has fun working as a full-time illustrator in Seattle where she lives. When not working, Suzi enjoys reading, eating, playing board games, and sword fighting. You can read more about her and her work on her website www.suzispooner.com
