The most heartbreaking volume of the series as Denji is forced into a deadly battle with the "woman" he loves. He is forced to confront the tragic reality of his power and make some impossible decisions with no good answers. The genius of Fujimoto-san's storytelling is on full display here with lots of good lessons for those who pay attention. A tragically brilliant ending to Part 1 of the series.
