Prairie Rose

At 23, Rose Vasquez had lived a life of fear and sacrifice. Buried by the ghosts of a tumultuous childhood, abandoned by her mother and left to maintain a crumbling home and care for her younger sister, Lily, the only one she could rely on was herself. Herself and her music, where she could escape the weight of her responsibilities and allow herself to dream of one day sharing her songs with the world.

With his tight wranglers and signature black Stetson, Thatcher Stevens was every woman’s rugged cowboy fantasy. A well-established rodeo heartbreaker and the new owner of The Pickled Pig, he didn’t believe in monogamy or the sanctity of marriage choosing to play the field rather than settle down.

When he’s asked to stand beside his father on his wedding day, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to a beautiful and mysterious young woman whose haunting voice captures his curiosity. A young woman who with just a single look, reveals a lifetime’s worth of pain for a childhood that never was. As Thatcher sets a course to discover more about Rose, he finds himself falling in love and wanting nothing more than to be the one to protect her and her sister from the ghosts of their past and to help Rose to make her musical dreams come true. But will Rose abandon her fears and learn to love and trust Thatcher or will a lifetime of broken dreams take away her destiny?

Prairie Rose is an inspiring tale of hope and the power of healing love. A story that will prove that with trust and tenacity anyone, no matter what you’ve been through, can make their dreams come true.
