About this ebook

Could this trade lead to love?

Middle linebacker Amil Halsted just got traded to the NFL expansion team Portland Mountain Lions. He’s quietly optimistic that he may have finally found his professional family.

Especially when he realizes Diana Jenison, his one-night stand from two seasons ago, works for the team. And she’s single. And he’s pretty sure she’s interested in him, possibly as more than a fling.

Except they have to overcome a few obstacles first.

One being his new teammate, Jalen Packerton, who has a raging crush on Diana and isn’t keen on Amil encroaching on what he considers his territory.

The second issue is Diana’s belief that her family is cursed, so therefore she can never fall in love.

It will be interesting to see which obstacle is bigger.

And whether Amil and Diana can overcome them both.

Another enjoyable Portland Mountain Lions book, this one involves Amil, the 49ers Linebacker who's recently been traded to Portland, and Diana, the team's PR manager. This book was an entertaining, no-angst story that's easy to read. While we already knew a lot about Diana, Amil was a relative mystery. I really liked him and the way he dealt with Diana and her baggage. It was funny to see the polished and efficient Diana flustered and chaotic.

This is the third story in the "Portland Mountain Lions" series. This is a good second chance romance about Amil and Diana. He has just been traded to the new expansion team. He finds his one night stand, from two years ago, working for the team. Will they get a second chance, or a first real chance, at finding more? This is a spicy story with love, passion and some unexpected. Such a good read.
