This short story tells how in 2072, the pandemic scientists have predicted for decades kills the vast majority of humanity. Con Colby survives but loses everyone he knows: his family, friends, and beloved Gloria. Chloe, a nurse he rescues from a brutal attack, sets off from California through civilization’s ruins to seek safety in the remote Colorado mountain town of Tin Cup. Con decides to follow her.
Will he survive the dangers of the post-pandemic world – and will Tin Cup prove to be the safe haven Chloe promised?
