I enjoyed this version of the story, told from Devon’s POV. It adds his perspective and personality to the chain of events from the first book in the series, Haunted Hearts. This is a companion novella and is best read in conjunction with the original books. I liked seeing Devon’s feelings, reasonings and visions and learning the truth about the “dark” Devon.

This time we get the story from Devon’s point of view! This is the same story as Haunted Magic but told from Devon’s point of view. It is quite a bit different.
