Dying for Le Weekend

Just when Jules and Luc thought they were leaving the past behind when they accepted an invitation to one of the most exclusive gatherings in the French countryside—a weekend retreat hosted by the wealthy and glamorous Deschamps. But just as the festivities begin, the enigmatic hostess Catherine Deschamps is found dead.

Cut off from the nearest village by a powerful storm and the lingering effects of the global EMP disaster eight years earlier, the guests--everyone is a suspect with reasons for wanting their hostess dead-- are trapped in the sprawling mansion. With no outside help and tensions mounting, Jules and Luc must step back into the field that once drove them apart to uncover the truth.

As clues emerge, Jules and Luc grapple with their past wounds, learning to trust each other again in a high-stakes game where every wrong move could cost another life. As they work to untangle the lies and uncover the killer in their midst, the storm outside rages ever stronger.
