"Saraswati's Gift", by Sukanya Basu Mallik is a short comic filled with illustrations that narrates the tale of Mira and the powers she has been gifted with. She is guided by the Goddess of knowledge, wisdom and creativity - Saraswati. She makes Mira understand the importance of patience, understanding, and wisdom. But as Mira holds on to the powers gifted to her, she faces dilemma and confusion. Mira faces manipulation to misuse the script. Mira decides to end all of this and let go. The book is very interesting, and is filled with beautiful illustrations. I loved reading it. The book made me realise about the decisions we take in our life. It's important to understand the value of something and not misuse the powers we have. With a hint of divine powers, the book was a spiritual and positive read. I read "Durga" by the author too, and that was another very empowering read.
