You know you're in for a fun ride when a chicken and a goat play a supporting role in the cast of quirky characters in this fun, sweet second chance romance. Darby returns to the place she felt the most at home when she has a terrible case of writers block and reconnects with her first love, Hopper. Will they be able to reconnect and get over the hurt caused when Darby left for Hollywood 10 years ago? Will they get there HEA? It was fun to reconnect with some memorable characters in this quirky little town!

Darby and Hopper are sweet, funny and a joy to get to know. I've read everything Stephie/Stephanie St. Claire writes and always enjoy the book. All her books are a one click one sit read.

Darby and Hopper's story in this second-chance, small- town romance was spectacular. The supporting cast of characters including all of the animals were priceless. I laughed so hard many times throughout their story. I also became choked up with emotion in spots as well. Even though it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other books in the Rumor Has It series for the enjoyable reading escape they give.
