About this ebook

Welcome to Sleeping Beauty Inc.

Book One: Rose Red - You can't buy a girl! But in the year 2214, you can. She can whip you into shape, design your diet, be your personal stylist, and turn you from geek to chic in just one year. What will happen if your model isn't what they promised?

Book Two: Sleeping Prince - You shouldn't let a woman buy you! Gage is a solarship pilot who transports Sleeping Beauty Inc. models between the moons of Jupiter. His favorite is a model named Iona. She has a contract for him. Dare he refuse?

Book Three: Beauty of Ares - Tired of hiring temporary models? Why not try an arranged marriage through Sleeping Beauty Inc.'s Gold Edition catalog? Look no further than Lisbet. She's the daughter of an 'old money' diamond merchant. She'll dazzle your contact list with her wave of black hair and her violet eyes. She'll even travel to Mars, a place infamous for its cruelty toward purchased models. After her father sells her to Vantz Bloomburg, she'll do anything.

Book Four: Goldilocks Zone - Welcome to Venus! On the floating panels of the yellow planet, they're hosting Goldilocks Zone. It's a game show, reality TV, and a beauty pageant all rolled into one! Ornette is a Sleeping Beauty Inc. model who has disobeyed her owners so many times that her left hand has been burned black. How will she compete in a game show where the object is to impress Papa Bear, Uncle Bear, and Brother Bear, but a man named Desmond, like the Cheshire Cat, keeps appearing to turn her heart upside down?

Book Five: Wild Princes - Once upon a time, there was a King and a Queen who longed for a child. The Queen prayed to ten magical fairies, and each one of them granted her wish because she gave birth to ten princes... Not really. Far in the future, ten baby boys were born as part of a genetic experiment, and after the scientists were gunned down, each of the boys went wild in his own way. Join each of the princes as they have a single adventure of their own. Start the book with the Prince of Ocean Spray and finish the book with the Prince of Time.

Having read all of the Sleeping Beauty, Inc. books I understood all of the references and histories that were mentioned and it made it much richer than it would have been had I not read those stories. You don’t have to read them first, but it’s nice to know that stuff. I’m always amazed at how she takes something as horrifying as human trafficking and communicates how defiling it is without getting too graphic. She shows us the scars of the people, instead. But those people are living anyway. They’re working through it. They’re finding hope, and they’re helping to rescue others. It’s brilliant. ‘Wild Princes’ is about the ten genetically engineered brothers who were bought and sold and suffered, but each chapter is one of their happily-or-not-so-happily-ever-afters. Even the ones that didn’t conclude with love and acceptance and healing were still complete and felt just like how that person would choose to go on. It’s like when you have the perfect meal but you aren’t quite full then you are served the most eye-pleasing dessert. Then when you bite into it, you aren’t disappointed in the least, you are surprised and delighted with how much better it tastes than it looked. And it looked amazing. This book is like that for everyone that’s already read the previous SBI books. Highly recommend!
