Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. But as they begin their senior year back in France, Isla and Josh are forced to confront the challenges every young couple must face, including family drama, uncertainty about their futures, and the very real possibility of being apart.

Their romantic journey is skillfully intertwined with those of beloved couples Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket, whose paths are destined to collide in a sweeping finale certain to please fans old and new.

This is my favorite Stephanie Perkins book because I can relate so much to Isla. Josh also reminds me of my boyfriend--always drawing, always hiding how smart he really is. Their romantic love story set with Perkins' imagery of Paris, Spain, and New York makes me read this over and over again.
