An all-new continuation of Tatsuo Yoshida's classic manga/anime, MachGoGoGo, known to Western audiences as Speed Racer! David Pepose and Davide Tinto have the storytelling keys to the featured story in issue #0, which ignites Mad Cave's ongoing Speed Racer series. David Pepose is an American comics writer and former crime reporter who has written for Marvel Comics and independent comics. His book Spencer & Locke was nominated multiple times for the Ringo Awards and he won in 2021 for Best Single Issue for his self-published comic The O.Z.

Born in Naples, Italy on the 23rd of August 1983, Davide Tinto is a great fan of comics. After completing his art studies, he started working for independent publishers. Thus began his collaborations with Octane Comics, Inteweb Comics, Big Punch Studio, Evil Kat Studio, Cards & Co., Giochi Uniti, Evoluzione Publishing, Reckless Hero, and many others. In 2018, he embarked on his first trip to America, and at New York Comic Con, he had the opportunity to meet the editors of the biggest majors on the market. Thus he began to work first for Rebellion publishing on the 2000 AD magazine (collaboration still active today); then he began his partnership with IDW for which he drew a run on Marvel Action Spiderman (from issue 10 to 12). Also for IDW he drew the cover of Issue 1 of the new edition of GI Joe and worked on Clone Wars—Battle Tales 4 and on Star Wars Adventures 3—Kylo Mini Magg—Fallow and Lead (Issue forthcoming). At the same time he also began working for Valiant Comics on the comic The Visitor. Between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, through Arancia Studio, he was noticed and chosen by Steve Orlando to undertake a collaboration. The project became part of the upcoming releases for Image Comics on which the artist is still working.

Mark Russell is an author, comic book writer, and cartoonist living and toiling in Portland, Oregon. The works he is known for include God Is Disappointed in You, a modern re-telling of the Bible, The Flintstones, Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles (Winner of the 2019 GLAAD Award for Outstanding Comic), Not All Robots (Winner of the 2022 Eisner Award for Best Humor Comic), and Superman: Space Age, which tells the story of Superman and his loved ones, living against the backdrop of Cold War America. As far as he knows, all his books are still in print.
