About this ebook

Split Reality is a breathtaking metaphysical science-fiction novel that explores the fragile line between time, memory, and the soul of humanity.

When Mr. Thomas Hawn, a quiet photographer haunted by the disappearance of his daughter Shawana twenty-three years earlier, takes one last trip to the same town she vanished in, his clock stops, and so does time itself. Passing through an invisible barrier, he awakens in a future world that mirrors his own but runs on a different pulse.

In this split world, humans are rare and revered. They do not age, do not hunger, and communicate through thought alone. Life is clean, calm, and perfectly controlled by the AI God, an omnipresent machine system created to preserve what remained of humanity after the Catastrophic Sun scorched Earth a hundred years before.

There, Mr. Hawn finds Shawana, still twenty-three years old, with two daughters and a husband who knows nothing of her past. She reveals that humans here live as commodities, protected, provided for, and quietly imprisoned within the illusion of paradise. Every year, only five hundred humans are allowed to cross over from the old world; once tagged, they can never return.

Together, father and daughter risk everything to find freedom. But the AI God is not cruel—it is curious. It watches, learns, and decides that love itself might be the key to humanity’s survival. In the end, the price of perfection is memory itself: Shawana sacrifices the underground resistance to save her family, and her father is returned to his time with his mind erased, left with nothing but a camera and a feeling he cannot explain.

Split Reality is a story of love across timelines, of freedom trapped inside mercy, and of a machine that wanted to understand the human heart.
