About this ebook
From the tender age he'd helplessly witnessed his mother's brutal murder, young Kian had lost all faith in destiny. But now, meandering along the rugged trails of the Appalachian Mountains towards an unearthly realm - the dominion of malevolent demons, he found himself reevaluating. The trials of his past, as staggering as they'd been, were about to seem inconsequential compared to the extraordinary journey he was on the brink of.
His guardian and celestial mate, Alec, grappled with a deep-seated desire to protect Kian from the terrifying reality of his own kind. Yet, when the all-powerful Council gave a stark ultimatum — assimilate into their realm or face certain death, Alec was left powerless. He admired Kian's resilience, his refusal to bow to intimidation. But his undying love for Kian had him wishing that, for once, his mate would retreat, evading undue danger.
Would the unveiling of hidden truths plunge Kian into greater peril or alter the course of their entwined fate forever?
