The Quran as you've never read it before: translated from the roots, restored to the intellect.
Words like "Islam," "Allah," "Kafir," and "Salat" have become labels of identity over time, shrouded in centuries of cultural stratification that make them distant, exotic, and sometimes incomprehensible to the contemporary reader. But what did they really mean when the text was revealed?
This translation was born from a specific need: to remove the dust from the meanings.
THE METHOD: RETURN TO THE ROOTS
Arabic is a language of verbal roots: each word stems from a concrete concept of action. Where classical translations adopt the conventional theological term, this work chooses the etymological and functional meaning:
· Divinity, instead of "Allah": not the god of a tribe, but the Source of existence for all humanity.
· Way of Life, instead of "Religion": not a private sphere of faith, but a complete and coherent way of leading one's existence.
· Connection, instead of "Prayer": an active and disciplined bond with the Source of life, not a passive liturgy.
· He who covers the truth, instead of "Unbeliever": the description of a psychological state, not an insult.
· Self-protection, instead of "Fear of God": the vigilant awareness that leads to safety.
And again: the Informer instead of the "Prophet", the Place of prostration instead of the "Mosque", the double meaning of rasūl — Messenger and Message — which opens up surprising and coherent readings of the verses of eternal value.
AN INVITATION TO THE INTELLECT
The Quran doesn't ask for blind acceptance: it invites us to read, reason, observe, and connect the dots. This translation preserves that rational spirit and addresses the human being as such, beyond all labels and affiliations.
TO WHOM IS THIS WORK DEDICATED?
For those who seek the Truth beyond labels. For those who desire a direct and understandable relationship with the Message. For those who want to discover why this Book continues to stir consciences after more than fourteen centuries.
Not a new doctrine, but the intrinsic logic and universality of a living "Reading," finally restored to its original voice.
Happy reading and happy reflection.
