About this ebook

I never dreamed the world would end this way...

Sixteen-year-old Parrish Sorrows is nothing special. She lives in the shadow of her prodigy sister, ignored by her parents and shunned as an outsider at her private school.

But today, everything changes.

Today, on the other side of the country, a portal to another world opens. A man and a witch step through, both tied to Parrish in ways she could never have imagined.

Because of their actions, an ancient evil awakens, spreading a virus that will kill millions in a matter of weeks. When the dead begin to rise, survivors must battle an enemy they can’t even begin to comprehend.

But as the world is dying, a mysterious power inside Parrish is reborn. A power that proves she was special all along. A power that shows she’s the key to saving what’s left of the world.

...and she’s not the only one.

Told from alternating points of view, Death’s Awakening is equal parts fantasy and horror, witches and zombies, love and loss. It is the story of five extraordinary survivors struggling to realize their destiny as they fight against the darkest evil this world has ever seen.

Praise for Death’s Awakening:

“Imagine Stephen King's The Stand hooks up with a dark fairytale and begets The Walking Dead.”  ~Goodreads Review

This is my first book ever reading of hers. I love different point of views books, however I don't think this author knows what that means. she has different point of views yet she still writes in third person. when writing from the view of Noah is constantly"he did this ,he did that" when it should be " I did this, I did that" since your point of view is from that person. and she describes every little thing it is so annoying. did we need to know she drink out of a red and white straw????

This is the first ever book I've by Sarra and it honestly kept me hooked, I just didn't want to stop reading it.At first when I got this book I thought it might take me atleast a week to finish it but the plot and the characters made me finish it in two days. If you are into dark fantasy mixed with a little bit of horror give it a try, it won't disappoint you. The best book I've read so far, really excited to read the other parts.

I received this book from Sarra cannon for free for and honest review. I thought this book was a good twist to two classic story's. Zombies, witches and magic Sarra has blended them together really well. A bit hard to get in to at first with all the different characters telling there point of view, but once got the hang of it it's a really good book. Can't wait for the next one.
