The book series was fine...what I didn't like was that there was NOTHING in the description that said this series is lgbtq+ friendly. I don't care what people do in the privacy of their homes BUT when I read a book...I don't want to read about it...gay or hetero. The least the author's could have said was that the book has gay characters and let the person decide BEFOREHAND if they want to read these books or not. I also very much disliked the author's notes at the end of the book...claiming (or blaming) the characters for the direction that they took...as far as their preferences. Don't put that on the characters...the AUTHORS decide EVERYTHING that happens within their work...so it was the AUTHORS choice to make some of the character's gay...so please authors...stop spouting nonsense at the end of your books!!!
