Beautiful. I keep coming back to that word when I think of Flight of a Wild Heart. Love is beautiful and transformative. Robert and Sparrow discover this on their dangerous journey through the Coloradan mountains. If you are looking for a story that involves forced proximity in a dangerous environment with enemies on their tail yet still manages to deliver a beautiful romance then Flight of a Wild Heart is for you!

This is such a feel good story! Robert can't believe that he can be forgiven his sordid past, but he has found God, and tries to do everything to earn forgiveness. Sparrow has had her share of heartaches, but her deep faith uplifts her and gives her hope. They are thrown together in a marriage of convenience, and embark on a harrowing journey to find her people. Shady characters try to kill them.... the mountain tries to kill them, but they conquer these obstacles and keep traveling.

“Though devilish ways may tempt us in our short life here on earth, being Lucifer’s riding partner through the depths of hell is not something I wish to sign on to anymore.” I was not ever expecting to be reading this story of redemption after the part the Sweeneys have played in the Vestige in Time series. It was wholly unexpected. I really enjoyed this multicultural historical romance. The new frontier. Plus, of course, some suspense! A wonderful shorter read of redemption and faith.
