Jenn leaves home for Comumbia to get away from her unrequited love for Doug. Imagine her dismay when be is sent to help her a few weeks later. Their story is full of tense moments, flaring chemistry and action, both on page and in memories. I love this big family of teammates and can't wait for the next one. I am glad that Doug finally came to his senses. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The thirteenth story in the Trident Security, another engrossing well written story. Jenn Mullins has been in love with Doug Henderson for years, but he believes it is because he saved her life. An age gap story. One kiss and he runs, but an earthquake in Columbia where she is working and the resulting chaos will bring them together again. I found their story to be well worth reading. This was one of my favorites in this series. I love a slow burn romance. My heart squeezed for each of them throughout because of the perceived forbiddenness of their relationship. There was suspense and action with characters from previous books where she has created a world that is easy to immerse myself into. I loved the common sense of the characters in their actions.
