About this ebook
“We don’t even know where we are!”
When Tina La Cross wakes in an alien menagerie—captured, stripped, and studied like an exotic specimen—she has no idea how far she is from home. The only thing keeping her sane is the presence of Carter Arcturus, the man she’s secretly wanted since the day they met.
Carter has been drawn to Tina for months, but being thrown naked into a cage together definitely isn’t how he imagined their first date. With escape their only priority, he fights to keep his focus on survival… and not on Tina’s very distracting proximity.
Their salvation arrives in the form of Kirtl, their loyal Blarmling friend, who stages a daring rescue. Now the three of them must cross a hostile alien galaxy, hunted by the insectoid Kratzen and cut off from everything familiar.
As danger mounts and passions flare, Tina and Carter must trust each other—and their unlikely companion—if they ever hope to find a way home.
Peril, desire, and unexpected heroism collide in Book Three of S. C. Mitchell’s Hearts in Orbit series.
