The Predator by SB Alexander is an enemies-to-lovers paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Blake Lockheart and Cecily Foster. This is the second book in the Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla series. This is the second series of Susan's that I have read and it won't be my last. I am really enjoying the relationship between Sam and Layla. I liked that we got both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book The Union to be released on July 12, 2022. Blake and Cecily did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to reading more of their work in the future. I would recommend this series if you like enemies-to-lovers romance, paranormal romances, military romances, slow burn romances, or romantic suspense. Audiobook Obsession Reviewer

Wow Sam and Layla’s story just keeps getting better. Absolutely cannot wait for the next book as this one ended on the mother of all cliffhangers so the next book can’t come out soon enough. Definitely need to read The Hunted first but this series is amazing and you should definitely read it. 100% recommend reading this series and Vampire Navy Seals series that is Sam’s twin sisters story about how they came to be vampires.

I flippin loved this!! This is book two of Sam and Layla’s story, in the Vampire Navy SEAL world!! Sam…oh my god, he is totally sex on a stick!! He is freaking HOT!! And he is crazy about Layla!! This was full of shocking twists and turns, like the first book. There’s a MAJOR cliffhanger, but we won’t have long to wait for the third book, thankfully!! The over-all plot flowed from book one into book two…seamlessly. The characters (all of the major ones) have been so well-rounded, in Webb and Jo’s series and now continuing into Sam and Layla’s series. So if you like Paranormal Romance, with a sexy SEAL Team, lots of action, shocking twists and turns, and some very sexy scenes…then you will adore this series!! I just finished and I already want to read it again!
