It All Begins with Love: What Tennis Can Teach Us About the Gospel
About this ebook
Meant for readers who love tennis but also seek a deeper life with God, It All Begins with Love is a metaphorical tapestry that shows how this historical sport and the wisdom and wit of its most enduring legends can mirror a life of faith. Tennis is a mental game as much as a physical one, and the determination and joy needed for it parallels the dedication and wonder required for our relationship with God. Both our tennis journey and our spiritual one are paths we must undertake individually, but they also require others in order to be truly enjoyed. Just as tennis matches begin with love all, so too does Christianity begin with God’s love. From there, Levenson explores the discipline of the sport and the faith, taking control of the serve and your relationship with God, and embracing an abundant life.
