About this ebook

A collection of non-fiction sketches celebrating nature, small-town life, and a writer's journey in India.

Ruskin Bond, known for his simple and witty style, draws inspiration from his memories of places he has known and lived in. More than most writers, he finds himself inspired by the past—his childhood, adolescence, youth, and early manhood. These twenty-five stories form a delightful collection of his non-fiction sketches, his interaction with the natural world, and his life in small towns that has given him some of his biggest stories.

For readers who appreciate the beauty of nature, the charm of small-town India, and the reflections of a master storyteller, this collection offers a journey down the years with Ruskin Bond at his very best. Discover the magic in the mountains and the words that flow effortlessly from a life well-lived.
