About this ebook

An ✨UNPUTDOWNABLE✨ suspense novel from the bestselling author of MISSING, perfect for fans of K.L. Slater, J D Kirk and Freida McFadden

⚡️Lightning never strikes twice... does it?⚡️

I never thought I’d have to tell my daughter, Emily, her sister was gone. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But now, somehow, I have to do it again – because her father is missing.

As soon as I saw the police on my doorstep, I just knew that tragedy had befallen our family a second time.

After everything we’ve been through – the crushing grief, the endless guilt – I can understand the need to run. But days have passed and still there’s no trace of Max.

He wouldn’t leave our daughter. Not like this. Not after everything.

Unless he couldn’t help it. Unless something happened.

I can’t help but question: is there someone else involved? Someone who knows exactly how to break a family already on the edge?

I thought I’d lost everything once. I can’t survive it happening again...

A heartbroken mother, a missing father, a whole host of secrets buried within a seemingly normal family. Don't miss this tense and twisty psychological suspense novel.

This book was so good hooked me in from the beginning.... Starts with Max on a bridge but did he jump off?? Who knows as just his back pack was recovered from the river, it shares chapters between his wife Maddy who is searching for clues as to if Max is still alive and if he is what's happened to him.... Then alternates with Max telling his story from the beginning of how they met etc... Maddy finds a key in the lining of Max's old suitcase with just a plot number and another letter with an address which Maddy investigates... When she gets there a lady answered but most shocking is the layout of the house exactly like hers at home even down to the exact same wallpaper and carpets... Who are these people that Max knows Ali and Adam who live in an identical house to there's... and where is Max..??.. This really was a 5 star read 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟📚🤗👍
