This book has a lot of good information in it, I found some problems in the book, some of the math questions aren't correct according to the definitions of the distances (offset, rise, run) some of the questions ask find the run and if you do the trigonometric function to find the adjacent side with the known angle it doesn't match the answers. Also the problem with parallel offsets is overcomplicated and oversimplified simultaneously, I sat down and came up with my own formula then upon further investigation I found that it is commonly used in the electricians field for parallel offsets. S x tan(1/2 A) (let S stand for distance between the pipes & A stand for angle of fitting) The only other issue I had was the copper pipes and tubes section, it was hard to retain information because of the way it was organized. With that being said this book was mostly beautifully written and had so much GREAT knowledge. I not only learned a TON but I passed my fitting exam.
