About this ebook

MY REVENGE ON HER WILL NEVER BE SERVED COLD.

Seven years ago, I stole a kiss from a debutante on a yacht.

For my crime of passion, I spent three years in prison.

Now, with the power of the Beretta Crime Family behind me, I’m coming for the Yacht King.

I will destroy the man who thought me unfit to touch his daughter.

And this time, I’m taking more than just a kiss from her.

More, even, than a revenge fuck.

By the time I’m through, everything that man owns and loves will permanently belong to me–including his precious princess.

Revenge will be mine.

She will be mine.

This novella is dual POV, well written, and a darker, mafia, age gap, enemies to lovers romance. I enjoyed Dahlia’s resilience and that her regimented life hadn’t quashed her enthusiasm and spirit. I enjoyed Antonio’s changing perspective on his aims, and appreciated that he didn’t allow his anger with Dahlia’s father to continue to colour his interactions with her. I enjoyed their banter and boundary setting/pushing. I enjoyed their steamy intimate interactions.

"For the first time in forever, I don't know what my future holds." I think I'd categorize this as mafia-lite. Even though Antonio is the Don's nephew, there's no real mafia violence or action. What this is, simply, is a love story. There's a lot of steam here. Antonio and Dahlia have mad chemistry. It's short, so there's an insta-love element and no time for a lot of character development. I liked Antonio and felt underneath his anger and hurt he was really a good guy.

3 1/2 stars, a novella, a longer book would have had more plot depth to it. Antonio and Dahlia meet at her birthday party and get caught kissing. Dahlias rich father makes Antonio go to prison, so now Antonio is out for revenge. He comes back and takes the father's company and his daughter too. This is a novella, potentially starting off a new series. Will be interesting to see how the series develops. It finishes off well for a short book, and it has lots of adult scenes in it. I receive
