Reluctant
Podrobnosti o e‑knize
I used to train to fight monsters—werewolves, vampires, the kind that don't show up in fairy tales. But I walked away from that life for something normal. College. Coffee. Quiet.
Then a lone werewolf named Tobias shows up in my alley, bleeding and desperate. His mate has been taken. And I’m the only one in Chicago who knows how to track the things that hunt in the dark.
Now I’m being dragged back into a world I swore I’d left behind—where vampires rule the underground, and every ally has teeth.
I don’t want to be a hero. But if I don’t help him, she dies.
Fans of fast-paced urban fantasy, tough heroines, and supernatural suspense will love Reluctant.

O autorovi
Kendrai Meeks was deported from the American Midwest after graduating college, and held against her will for two decades in California. She finally escaped to Kansas City and really hates sarcasm. She first published in 2011, and has since put out nine books in romance and science fiction. In 2017, she decided to return to her first love, urban fantasy. She is the founder of the Bay Area Allied Indie Authors group. She has also been a featured speaker on a number of conference and industry panels on topics ranging from Fanfiction, to Audiobooks, to Serialized Fiction. She is a world music devotee and loves to travel (just hates to fly – a conflict, for certain). She enjoys twisting the extant into the exceptional, often basing her work on historical themes or legendary folk tales and mythology.
