Stop People Pleasing

A Practical Guide to Reclaiming Your Voice and Living Authentically

By R.H Rizvi

Do you constantly say yes when you want to say no?

Do you worry about disappointing others, avoid conflict, or stay silent about what you truly think and feel?

People-pleasing can appear to be kindness on the surface. But when the need for approval causes you to ignore your own needs, values, boundaries, and voice, it can leave you feeling exhausted, resentful, and disconnected from yourself.

Stop People Pleasing is a practical guide to breaking free from approval-seeking patterns and learning how to live with greater confidence, self-respect, and authenticity.

Inside this book, you'll discover:

✔ Why people-pleasing develops and why it can be difficult to stop

✔ How the fear of rejection and disapproval influences your choices

✔ Practical ways to say no without unnecessary guilt

✔ How to stop constantly seeking approval from others

✔ Ways to set and maintain healthier boundaries

✔ How to communicate your needs with greater clarity and confidence

✔ Strategies for overcoming self-doubt and overthinking

✔ How to strengthen self-respect and trust your own decisions

✔ Ways to speak honestly without abandoning yourself

✔ How to build a life that reflects your values and authentic identity

You do not have to make everyone happy to be a good person.

You can care about others without constantly sacrificing yourself.

You can disagree without feeling guilty.

You can say no without explaining yourself endlessly.

And you can choose relationships and a life where your voice matters.

Stop People Pleasing is for anyone struggling with approval-seeking, fear of rejection, weak boundaries, self-doubt, difficulty saying no, or the constant pressure to keep everyone else comfortable.

You don't need everyone's approval to live a meaningful life.

You need the confidence to trust yourself and the courage to use your own voice.

Stop seeking approval. Set healthy boundaries. Reclaim your voice. Live authentically.

I’ve always found it difficult to say no without feeling guilty and this book gave me a different perspective on that habit. The writing is straightforward and encouraging and I appreciated that the advice feels realistic rather than extreme.

What I enjoyed most was the emphasis on authenticity. You don’t have to become cold or stop caring about people you can simply stop abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. That idea stayed with me.

This was a refreshing reminder that being kind to others shouldn’t mean constantly ignoring yourself. I especially enjoyed the sections about boundaries guilt and finding your own voice. Definitely worth reading if you struggle with people pleasing.
