ROSENDO ROJAS is an instructional designer, learning strategist, and former university professor with over fifteen years of experience in online and blended education. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of Texas at Austin and has designed more than forty online courses for institutions including Arizona State University, edX, and a Fortune 500 corporate training division. His work focuses on bridging the gap between cognitive science research and practical study techniques that learners can apply immediately.
Rosendo began his career teaching English as a second language in community colleges, where he noticed that students who succeeded in face-to-face classes often struggled in the online versions. This observation led him to study the specific challenges of virtual learning environments—self-regulation, digital literacy, and social presence—and to develop evidence-based interventions. He has since trained hundreds of instructors and thousands of students through workshops, webinars, and his popular YouTube channel, “Learn Better with Rosendo,” which offers free tutorials on active recall, time management, and note-taking.
In addition to *The Online Learning Success Blueprint*, Rosendo is the author of *The Digital Scholar’s Toolkit* and *Study Smarter, Not Harder: A Guide for Adult Learners*. He has been featured in *EdSurge*, *The Chronicle of Higher Education*, and the *Teaching in Higher Ed* podcast. He currently lives in San Antonio, Texas, where he continues to consult with universities and corporations on effective online learning design. When not working, he enjoys hiking, playing classical guitar, and experimenting with new productivity apps. He believes that every learner, regardless of background, can master the art of learning online—and he wrote this book to prove it.
