Premedicated Murder
À propos de cet e-book
Joanna Webber never expected her gift for talking to the dead would land her in the middle of a murder investigation. But when the ghost of Jeremy Landon appears in her office insisting his "accidental" death at a pharmaceutical lab was actually murder, she can't turn him away. After all, she knows what it's like to lose someone and be left with unanswered questions.
What starts as a favor for a desperate spirit quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. Someone is following Joanna through the streets of Creekview. Her house is broken into, her belongings destroyed. And the more she digs into Jeremy's death, the more she uncovers secrets that powerful people want to stay buried; affairs, gambling debts, lies, and betrayals that go deeper than she ever imagined.
With the help of her loyal assistants Micah and Tessa, Joanna races to untangle a web of suspects who all had reasons to want Jeremy dead. There's his pregnant wife Laney, his construction company brother Greg, his gambling buddies at the underground poker club, and the colleagues at the lab where he died. Everyone has secrets. Everyone is lying about something.
Detective Clint Hartley thinks Joanna is either delusional or involved, but even his skepticism can't stop her from pursuing the truth. Because when the dead ask for help, Joanna can't say no.
But this investigation will cost her more than she ever imagined and lead her to an encounter that will change her life forever.
Perfect for fans of cozy paranormal mysteries with heart, humor, and a touch of romance.

À propos de l'auteur
As a child, I wanted to be a teacher or a scientist but I always had a love of books. Spending many hours in libraries with stacks of books.
As a young child, I had trouble sleeping, so my parents suggested that I tell myself happy stories about things I liked. I started by telling myself adventure stories or adding myself into my favorite books. This launched my love of storytelling.
Over the years, I tried and quit, tried and quit to write a book or even a complete short story. I have tons of notes from those misses saved. But, finally, in October 2016, I started writing Mandy’s Story. It was the first book I ever completed.
Then one of my aunts asked me if I wrote mystery, so I tried it and that is how Premedicated Murder and the Medium with a Heart Series was born.
Thank you for supporting my dream. Happy reading!
