About this ebook

Conflict in Shadow is a tightly woven story combining science fiction, space adventure, and intelligence-driven military action.
Conflict in Shadow takes the reader on an exploration of inter corporate sci-fi, military space adventure, and intelligence-driven suspense. It provides a window on a naive young man’s journey from teenage ‘fugitive’ for enemies of the world he grew up in, to a useful youngster developing his own skills and talents in support of his mentors. It watches as Captain Felicity Roberts faces moral and ethical dilemmas, responsibility for her ship and its passengers and crew in a galaxy torn by a conflict between the WTO Fleet and the Intercorporate Consortium over control of colonies and resources.
The interplay between Captain Felicity Roberts’ covert operations, Fleet Security’s intelligence missions, and the threats posed by the Pantheon creates a gripping story that draws the reader into the realistic world of human determination, struggle and interpersonal relations. It explores the impact of decisions made by remote authorities on the lives of ordinary people, and the consequences of unleashing ideologically driven conflicts.
Readers searching for strategic, suspenseful space adventures will find it all in this exciting interstellar saga.
