Screenplay of Death: A Hollywood Cold Case Mystery

When an investigative reporter falls from the roof of XRM Studios shortly before she can reveal new evidence about the mysterious death of her actress aunt, her case is easily closed as a suicide.

Rio Cruze, the studio’s security chief and former police officer, believes otherwise. Reluctant heir to XRM’s struggling Hollywood legacy, Dr. Adrian Whitney fears another suspicious death could destroy the studio's future. But Rio’s provoking demand for investigation challenges the history professor not to bury the truth, as it has been in the past.

Together the amateur sleuths reopen a cold case that leads to a hidden diary, long-buried secrets, and an aging killer determined to cover up the past. The deeper Adrian and Rio dig, the more dangerous the investigation becomes—and the harder it is to ignore the growing attraction between them.

Someone got away with murder thirty years ago.

Someone is willing to repeat history.
