About this ebook
Complete and unabridged, with 58 full-page plates by William Merritt Chase, George Bellows and Childe Hassam. Archie Moffam marries an American hotel magnate's daughter, whom her father would rather she had not, and takes up residence in the hotel — where he cannot make a telephone call, buy a painting or open a window without a catastrophe. Wodehouse assembled this in 1921 from magazine stories and it is his New York book: the millionaire is drawn with real accuracy, and Archie's uselessness is a fine art.
