About this ebook

Sometimes the safest place to land… is with the man who never planned on company.

Former EMT Brian Knight has finally found peace in Copper Moon. A cozy cabin, a job he loves at the new bike shop with Hank and Colby, and no one expecting anything from him—it’s exactly the quiet life he’s earned. Brian likes people well enough, but solitude? That’s his happy place.

Dr. Tessa Callahan is done with chaos. Burned out and grieving the patient she couldn’t save, she escapes to Copper Moon for a reset, a breath, a break from the relentless pace of her former life. What she doesn’t expect is to arrive at her rental cabin and find a charming stranger already living in it.

A charming stranger who is not leaving.

A mix-up strands them under the same roof, where Tessa’s sharp wit meets Brian’s easy humor, and their forced proximity turns awkwardly sweet… then undeniably heated. But as they settle into their unexpected living arrangement, Tessa’s past follows her to Copper Moon in dangerous ways.

Brian walked away from emergency work for a reason.

But loving Tessa—protecting her—might be the one thing worth stepping back into the fire for.

Ironically, I did not recall Brian being so surly in the first 2 books, so I had to adjust to that. Both of these two made you feel for them, with the scars they carried from being medical professionals. It seemed destiny thrust them together to help them walk their paths to better and brighter futur
