この電子書籍について

First articulated by Amitav Acharya in his 2014 International Studies Association presidential address, Global IR challenged the deep-seated Western-centrism of International Relations and called for a genuinely global discipline. Over the past decade, Global IR has emerged as one of the most influential and widely debated approaches in contemporary International Relations, reshaping research, teaching and theoretical debates across the field.

This volume brings together Acharya’s seminal writings alongside new essays examining the agenda's intellectual roots, evolution and ongoing challenges. Paired with a critical introduction by Yong-Soo Eun that traces how Global IR has been received, interpreted and extended by scholars over the last decade, this collection offers the most comprehensive assessment to date of Global IR and its vision for a pluralistic discipline.
