This book examines phenomena from Finnish and Finnish-Swedish literature written in the years between the 1980s and the first decade of the new millennium. Leena Kirstinä (Ph.D.) is Emer. Professor of Finnish Literature, from the University of Jyväskylä. Her recent publication is a monograph on Narrating Nation: Finnishness in the Prose of the 1990s, (2007). She is working with the reseach group for History of Contemporary Finnish Literature.
