About this ebook

An emotional, pulse-pounding story of love, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds of family, Kylie is a gripping tale of survival, second chances, and the enduring power of coming home.

Kylie Matthews-Walker

One year, eight months, and twenty-six days ago, I died.

At least, that's what everyone believes.

Travis and Gage buried an empty coffin. My children mourned the mother they lost. And while the world moved on without me, I remained trapped in a living nightmare.

Held captive by a ruthless man seeking revenge, I’ve spent nearly two years isolated from the family I love, surviving on little more than determination and the hope that one day I’ll find my way home. Every birthday missed, every holiday lost, every moment stolen from my children becomes another reason to keep fighting.

But hope is a dangerous thing.

As starvation and dehydration push me to the brink of death, fate intervenes in the most unexpected way. Suddenly, I'm safe, but still not home. Now, I must decide whether to risk everything for a chance to reclaim my life or remain hidden in the shadows where my captor can't use my family against me.

Before I can choose my path, it is chosen for me.

As familiar voices call my name and long-buried dreams collide with reality, I am forced to confront a truth I never expected: Surviving captivity may have been the easy part. Finding my way back to the life I lost could prove far more difficult.

I must admit to being a bit confused at the start of this as story, wondering where on earth it could possibly go. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! I sometimes wonder at the way the minds of authors work...but by mind has been especially blown by where Nicole Edwards' mind and talent has taken us to this time. It is hard to fully describe my thoughts and feelings about 'Kylie' without spoilers but what I will say is that once again we, the readers, need to strap in for an emotional ride of a lifetime. In the fashion I've come to expect from this author's work, the seeds or more, of another novel have been well and truly planted which will no doubt nurture and grow into another stunning novel that I'll be unable to put down. Sound familiar? Bravo on another amazing addition to the Walker family saga...I can't wait for what's to come!

Kylie was such an emotional read. I have always loved how Nicole Edwards connects her characters and series, making them feel like one huge family. I recommend reading Alibi first to fully understand Kylie's story. What Kylie endured was heartbreaking, and I appreciated that her return home wasn't made easy or unrealistic. This story was about survival, grief, love, healing, and finding your way back to family after everything has changed. Now I need to know what happens next!

Kylie grabbed me by the heart and didn’t let go. I absolutely loved it! Nicole did an amazing job bringing Kylie’s journey to life. Even knowing the outcome, I still found myself crying. I loved getting Kylies perspective and understanding what she experienced during those missing years. Her struggles felt real, and seeing her find her way back to her family was emotional. The steamy moments are still there and HOT! I laughed, I cried, and fell in love with these characters. Absolutely beautiful

About the author

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nicole Edwards spends her days stringing words together to make complete sentences. Sometimes not. Her best friend is coffee, and she has a love/hate relationship with sarcasm. She’s been accused of having a filthy imagination, which she admits is true.

Nicole lives in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. She proudly claims one husband, three grown children, and two bosses (better known as the dogs). When she isn’t writing, watching football or hockey, or keeping her bosses happy, you can probably find her with a book in hand.
